Sorry I missed posting last week! I've decided to finally tackle the HUGE project of painting our dining/living room, so that's been taking up a lot of my time (and I was just plain wiped).
So here's my photos from this week and and the whole ONE I took last week.
One of my besties had her baby a few weeks ago. I swung by to bring her some food and sacrifice my time to hold the baby for her. Cuz I'm such a good friend like that! ;o)
I finally started painting the dining/living room last week. I've been putting it off forever because the room is so HUGE it made me tired just thinking about it.
Then when I was at work one day, the solution came to me. Just paint one wall at a time! Sounds simple enough, but for some reason, once I thought of it, the whole thing became way easier. So now I've been painting one or 2 (if they're small) walls on my days off. I never have to spend my entire day off painting. I just take a couple hours to roll some paint on one wall, then I'm done for the day.
I'd been collecting pretty plates for a plate installation in the kitchen. That area is so huge, that I still didn't have enough plates. Until I decided I'd hang them in the dining room instead. Now I have plenty, so I was laying them out to see how I wanted to hang them.
Yes. I'm one of those doggy moms. I actually know and celebrate my babies' birthday. They got doggy ice cream, canned dog food, and a new toy (that came with a little bag of treats).
We kinda love those fur balls a little :o)
I was sitting on the floor of the bedroom playing with Oscar while Hubby sat on the bed. He said something to me so I looked over and saw a tiny puppy nose protruding from between Hubby's feet.
This little guy had decided that under the bed was the place to be.
I was doing so well at the grocery store. I was only buying the things on my list, and avoiding the bad aisles completely! Until I needed to buy real maple syrup.
Know where they keep that? The cereal aisle.
Know what happens when you happen to glance at a box of fruit pebbles? Suddenly it becomes a very good idea to make fruit pebble rice crispy treats.
They were delicious! And very much not paleo! :op
Oscar loves to burrow under the blanket when he's on the sofa. I look over at him the other night and this is what I see.
Two tiny little doxie legs sticking out of the blanket. And straight up.
so. much. cuteness!
What've you been up to this week?
